Refund, Batch Change & Cancellation Policy
Trig Turn Education LLP
1. Introduction
Trig Turn Education LLP (“Trig Turn”, “we”, “our” or “us”) is committed to providing quality educational services to students preparing for Kerala PSC, State PSC, UPSC, SSC, RRB, Banking and other government competitive examinations.
This Refund, Batch Change & Cancellation Policy sets out the terms applicable to online course purchases, offline course refund requests and offline batch transfers.
By enrolling in a course, students acknowledge that they have read this policy, subject to their rights under applicable law.
2. Online Course Refund Policy
All online course purchases are generally final and non-refundable once the purchase is completed and course access is activated.
This policy applies to live online classes, recorded lectures, online test series, digital study materials and other online educational services offered by Trig Turn.
Refunds will ordinarily not be provided for change of mind, voluntary withdrawal, non- attendance, non-utilisation of course content or failure to complete a course within its validity period.
Exceptions may apply to duplicate payments, failed transactions, non-activation of purchased courses, cancellation by Trig Turn, material service deficiencies or other circumstances where a refund or alternative remedy is required under applicable law.
3. Offline Course Refund Policy
3.1 Refund Eligibility
Students enrolled in offline coaching programmes may request a refund within 14 calendar days from the programme enrolment date.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing at the respective Trig Turn offline centre within the prescribed period.
Requests submitted after 14 calendar days will ordinarily not qualify for a voluntary withdrawal refund, subject to applicable law.
3.2 Refund Calculation
For an eligible refund request:
- An amount equivalent to 10% of the course Maximum Retail Price (MRP) will be retained as an administrative and enrolment charge, subject to applicable law.
- Taxes actually paid or remitted in connection with the enrolment may be deducted only to the extent legally non-refundable and supported by appropriate records.
- The refund will be calculated with reference to the amount actually paid by the student, without duplicate deductions.
The final refund amount will be communicated to the student after verification.
3.3 Refunds After 14 Days
Voluntary withdrawal refunds will ordinarily not be available after the 14-day eligibility period.
This restriction does not affect any statutory right or remedy available to a student under applicable law.
3.4 Cancellation by Trig Turn
If Trig Turn cancels a programme or is unable to deliver the essential services promised at enrolment, an appropriate remedy, including a refund where applicable, will be determined in accordance with the circumstances and applicable law.
4. Offline Batch Change Policy
Trig Turn permits eligible students to request a change of offline batch, subject to the following terms and conditions.
4.1 Eligibility
- The student must have paid the full programme fee.
- The application must be submitted within 24 calendar days from the date of joining the original batch.
- The destination batch must have available seats and be suitable for the student's course.
- The request must be approved by the designated authority.
Requests made after 24 calendar days will ordinarily not be accepted, subject to applicable law.
4.2 Application Procedure
All batch change requests must be submitted in person at the respective Trig Turn offline centre using the prescribed application form.
Verbal requests, telephone calls or informal messages will not be treated as valid applications.
The centre executive will register and verify the request and forward it to the designated authority for approval. A batch change will take effect only after formal approval and completion of the required fee adjustments.
4.3 Processing Time
Batch change requests will ordinarily be processed within 5 working days after receipt of a complete application and the necessary approvals. Additional time may be required for verification or seat availability.
4.4 Annual Limit
Only one batch change per student per academic year will ordinarily be permitted.
Once a batch change has been implemented, another change within the same academic year will ordinarily not be allowed, except where approved as an exception or required under applicable law.
5. Fee Adjustment for Batch Changes
5.1 Transfer to a Higher-Fee Batch
If the destination batch has a higher fee than the original batch, the student must pay the difference, including applicable taxes, before the transfer is completed.
5.2 Proportionate Fee Adjustment
The fee attributable to the period during which the student attended the original batch will be calculated proportionately. The eligible balance will be adjusted against the fee of the destination batch.
The applicable calculation will be communicated to the student before the transfer is completed.
5.3 Transfer to a Lower-Fee Batch
If a student transfers from a higher-fee batch to a lower-fee batch, the fee difference will ordinarily not be refunded in cash.
This provision remains subject to any entitlement required under applicable law or any specific written commitment made by Trig Turn.
5.4 Taxes
Applicable taxes on additional fees will be charged in accordance with prevailing tax laws. Any tax adjustment relating to the original enrolment will be handled in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
6. Batch Changes and Refunds Are Separate
A batch change is a transfer of enrolment and does not automatically entitle the student to a cash refund.
Students seeking to discontinue a course and request a refund must submit a separate application under the Refund Policy. Approval of a batch change does not restart the original refund or batch change eligibility period.
7. General Conditions
Students must provide accurate enrolment and payment information and comply with the prescribed application procedures and deadlines.
Trig Turn reserves the right to verify supporting documents and payment records before approving a refund or batch change.
Any exception to this policy will be considered by the designated authority on a case-by- case basis, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts any consumer right or statutory remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.
8. Amendments to This Policy
Trig Turn Education LLP may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in its services, business practices or applicable laws.
The latest version will be published on this page with the relevant effective date.
Updates will not retrospectively remove rights already accrued under applicable law.
